Mad4Motors prize competitions should always be fun. We're committed to helping you stay in control of how much time and money you spend with us.

Our commitment to you

  • We will never knowingly accept entries from anyone under 18.
  • We will never pressure you to enter more than you are comfortable with.
  • Every competition is offered with a free postal entry route, so no purchase is ever necessary to take part — see Postal Entry.
  • We cap the maximum number of tickets any one person can buy per competition, clearly displayed on each competition page.
  • We will respond to self-exclusion requests within 24 hours and honour them across your account.

Tips for staying in control

  • Set a budget before you start, and stick to it. Only spend what you can comfortably afford to lose.
  • Set a time limit. Step away from the site if you find yourself entering more frequently than you intended.
  • Don't chase losses. Buying more tickets to "make up" for previous entries is a warning sign.
  • Keep it fun. If entering is no longer enjoyable, take a break.
  • Never enter with borrowed money or money meant for essentials like rent, bills or food.

Could you be losing control?

Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to any of them, it may be time to take a break or seek support:

  • Are you spending more than you can afford on prize competitions?
  • Are you hiding the amount you spend from family or friends?
  • Do you feel anxious, irritable or low when you can't enter?
  • Have you borrowed money or sold possessions to fund entries?
  • Is entering affecting your work, relationships or mental health?

Self-exclusion

If you'd like to take a break, we can suspend your account for a period you choose (from 7 days up to permanently). During self-exclusion you will not be able to log in or enter competitions, and we will not send you marketing communications.

To request self-exclusion, email support@mad4motors.com from the email address registered to your account, stating the period you'd like to self-exclude for. We will confirm within 24 hours.

Protecting minors

Our competitions are strictly for adults aged 18 or over. If you share a device with under-18s, we recommend using parental control software such as Net Nanny or FamiSafe to restrict access to age-restricted sites.
